We started Kiwi Pest because we got tired of the pest control industry treating customers like contracts. We do it differently.
Our story
Kiwi Pest is family-owned and locally operated. Our employees live in the same neighborhoods we treat.
We started out as Mountain West Pest in Utah, and as we grew — expanding to Nevada in 2021 and Texas in 2026 — and brought family partners into the business, we became Kiwi Pest outside of Utah. Today we run crews in UT, NV, and TX, all built on the same idea: hire good people, train them well, treat them like family, and keep them on the same routes so they actually know the homes they're treating.
Why "Kiwi"? Our owners spent two years living in New Zealand, and when it came time to rename the company, the answer felt obvious. They named it after New Zealand's national bird — a name that felt friendly, fresh, and a little bit different. Kiwi green felt right.
